In this episode of Resilience Unravelled Justin Frandson, a renowned Athleticism Performance Coach shares his experiences as a performance coach and naturopathic doctor. Justin has worked with athletes for nearly 30 years, specialising in nerve work and the connection between athletic performance and the environment.
It's especially important to note that Justin has views different to our own - but that it's interesting to hear the views of people with whom we disagree.
Justin became interested in the impact of environmental factors on athletic performance after noticing that many of his athletes were breaking down due to the effects of wearable technology. In this podcast he highlights his concern about the negative effects of wearable technology, the importance of grounding and aligning with natural rhythms, the potential health issues caused by electromagnetic radiation, the effects of environmental pollution and the importance of understanding how our environment affects us.
Main topics
- The concept of grounding which involves reconnecting with nature to recharge one's body
- The importance of spending time outdoors, getting negative ions from the earth's resonance and consuming nutrients from natural sources like sunlight, air, food and water
- The significance of circadian rhythms and the need to align with natural rhythms, particularly in terms of light exposure during the day and night
- The importance of not using artificial screens or bright lights at night to maintain a natural sleep cycle.
- The potential issues with LED lights and transformers causing dirty electricity
- The effects of electromagnetic radiation (EMF) on human health, particularly on cognitive functions and DNA damage
- The potential dangers of 5G technology
- The effects of electromagnetic waves on human health
- The correlation between major illnesses and shifts in the electromagnetic blanket of the atmosphere
- The impact of environmental pollution on human health
- The importance of understanding how our environment affects us and the potential for transformation through life force or nature's resonance.

Hey and welcome back to Resilience Unravelled. And with me today is Justin Franson. And I think we're going to be talking about some quite fascinating stuff. It's quite nice to talk about products for a while,
[00:01:25] because often we talk a lot about people tapping into services, but I think Justin's going to talk to us about all sorts of interesting bits and bobs. So first of all, welcome, Justin. Where in the world are you? Oh, thank you for having me on, Russell. I'm in Southern California, Orange County, like Newport Beach, Laguna Beach area. Very nice. So it's the center of alternative thinking in the world, really. Isn't that that sort of place? Is that right? Yeah, it's a beautiful beach place. Yes.
[00:01:53] Fantastic. So tell us a little bit about yourself. Well, I'm the living, breathing ambassador of getting grounded by nature. So I'm out walking barefoot in an ocean every day. I'm an athleticism performance coach. Started athleticism.com almost 30 years ago, working with amateur and professional athletes, soon to be naturopathic doctor and
[00:02:19] just what I saw with, with working with the athletes for all those years where they were breaking down from wearable technology. And one of the strongest, fittest guys we had come in, so Justin, I pained my wrist. I said, well, where? And he said, he pointed to where his smartwatch was. And I said, well, that's radiation. And I said, why don't you take the radiation off your wrist? Because that was about the time the Fitbits were being recalled over a dozen years ago. And
[00:02:48] he took the watch off and the pain went away. And so that was literally, Russell, the breaking moment for me where I knew we had to look into understanding, better understanding of how we're made, how we're one with nature and how different this electromagnetic fields and frequencies were in our environment and how they affect us and then figure out how to coexist with it. So you mentioned the term then. Can I just back up right there? Just to talk about grounding.
[00:03:15] I mean, for people that don't know, what is grounding other than what seems obvious? Yeah. Grounding is basically everyone looks outside into nature to get out in the nature to get grounded, right? And so that's so did we with our company. But that's what I do. Grounding is basically taking your body out into the nature's elements and and recharging your body battery
[00:03:40] outside. So the first step would be to go barefoot. And we get that negative ion charge from the Earth's resonance that resonates at about 7.83 hertz. And we can convert that to a wave per second. So you all understand. So the resonance of the Earth is about 7.83 waves per second. And so keep that in mind,
[00:04:03] because I'm going to circle back to that. And so we get that negative ionic charge from that resonance and we pull the electrons from it to support our electron transport change. So that's earthing grounding really for the core. There's four other ways we get nutrients from being out into nature, which is also grounding.
[00:04:25] We get it from the sun and we get it. It's Dr. Zach Bush will say we get it from the air and breathing in these amazing ecosystems. Hopefully we get it from our food. If the food industries haven't destroyed all of our food or you're biodynamically regenerative or organically sourcing your food, you'll get it there. And then also we get it from the water and the structure of the water and we get the conductivity
[00:04:53] of it all from the water. So if we're missing any one of those elements, we're not grounded. Our body batteries are decharged and it's really tough to heal when you lose your polarity. And I'm guessing this is linked to circadian rhythms as well, because actually it makes more sense to use the natural rhythms of the day to say, you know, use sunlight and such like, or does that not massive so much these days? Oh, that's definitely part of your energy flow of your systems. The circadian
[00:05:22] rhythm is, is huge. It's just a different element than grounding, but we, our bodies have natural rhythms with day and night. So when it's daytime, you want to, you're looking in the, in the blue light up at the sky and your body signal that, you know, it's daytime. And then when it's nighttime, you don't want to look at blue light. So you don't want to have these screen, the artificial screens
[00:05:47] are really bright white led lights and all that, the fake lighting at night, you want to have your room as dark as you can, you know, mimicking nighttime. And so that's what helps us get into deeper sleep states and in a better flow of the rhythms of the universe is to create not only a coherence within
[00:06:11] any invisible stressors, but also get in rhythm with the rhythm of nature as well. Yeah. And that makes sense, doesn't it? Cause we all know we tend to feel more sluggish and less energized in winter because there are fewer hours of sort of natural daylight. And yet we still work in the same sort of hours and that's, that's sort of a challenge, wasn't it? So that's why I guess a lot of people use satellites and, and different types of lights and different types of environments,
[00:06:41] because most internal lights are just not great for you, are they? No, they're not. They're using bright led lights. And the other thing with these new led lights is, are there transformers in them, Russell? And those transformers will cause dirty electricity in your home. Okay. So when you're talking about grounding, you also talked a little bit about rocks. So I was quite interested in that because lots of people talk about crystals and I just wondered if rocks and
[00:07:09] crystals are something that go together. Yeah, definitely. I mean, fall in the same category right there, the crystals and their rocks basically for lack of better explanation, but ours are different. And, and as we know, nature has a resonance, we've told you it was 7.83 Hertz. And so different stones will have different resonances and those resonances will help with different situations. So
[00:07:37] our crystals are colloidal crystals. They have moisture magnetic properties in them. And that's what's so beautiful about them is the, the moisture. They're about 80% moisture content in them. So the moisture with the magnetic is what makes them so strong because we're so similar to it. We're, you know, a really high percentage of water as well, and then electric as well. So we're one with
[00:08:04] nature's resonance. We're one with our crystals and the grounding bags at EMF rocks. And then when you bring those into our environment, it can help detox you, stuck EMF, and then give you more energy, but then also create that, that balance, that co coherence in your environment. If you, you do have stressors and we all do because we live in these homes, we call them homes, but Russell, let's be quite honest. They're, they're really electrical boxes that we're living in.
[00:08:34] Well, it's interesting you say that because I know one of the things you sell is a Faraday bag. So for people that don't know about that, that would be interesting to talk about. Yeah. Faraday bags, there's a little different spin on it, but they think of Faraday cages as where no frequencies go in and out. Ours aren't like that. It's only a seven millimeter static bag. So you put your phone in it, it protects you from your phone. It lowers the signal strength of the
[00:09:00] phone, but frequencies go in and out of it. So that you will most likely get a call in it, but you're not getting zapped the whole time you're waiting for the call. And then the other cool thing is it saves the life of your battery because they can't data harvest. They can't aggregate your information at record speeds. Oh, I see. So, okay. So we have, so we have a, we have a rock or we have a selection of rocks. So what do we do with them? How are they actually
[00:09:26] working? Yeah. So they work just as nature's intended. And when, when you have a stressor out there, they're going to facilitate healing you. And so we have protocols where how much of nature do you bring into your home? So one grounding bag on your bed or underneath your bed, just as long as it's touching your bed, you'll sleep up to 60% deeper, five grounding bags together, clear 2000 square
[00:09:54] feet, seven, if you have solar and please everyone stop buying electric cars. Cause you need seven grounding bags. If you're driving around electric car, cause sitting on that massive battery is devastating for your health. It causes lots of dirty electricity, uh, 18% lower testosterone, and you're just using more electricity to use the vehicle. So there's no, doesn't have any common sense either. But, uh, that those are some of the simple protocols. We do have many grounding bags
[00:10:22] as well that you can carry with you in your pocket purse or backpack that are for on the go protection, but those are, you know, some of our suite of, of products that we offer for EMF protection. And I mean, if you're in a group, a room Russell, and you look to your right, and then you look to your left, it's either you or those other two people that are EMF sensitive and all,
[00:10:47] all of you are affected by EMF, but literally one in three are, are super sensitive to the electromagnetic radiation right now. What does that, how does that manifest itself? I'm sorry. What does that mean? What are the symptoms of that? It's all cognitive stuff. So EMF can break us down by a vibration. It vibrates, uh, basically our body. So it opens up the voltage gated calcium channel. So let's positive
[00:11:13] calcium into a negative cell and in turn causes tremendous cell and DNA damage. It's an oxidative stress. It calcifies your pineal gland. So you don't connect up to God. You don't get into these deep restorative sleeps because your endocrine systems disrupted. So your hormones aren't being replenished. Uh, it destructures our water at 2.45 gigahertz. So, uh, 2.45 gigahertz is a,
[00:11:37] that means gigahertz means billions of waves per second or per cycle. And remember the resonance of the earth is 7.83 waves per second. So you're looking at a difference of 10 zeros between how the earth is and how we are, and then how these, the, just the lowest level of 4g is, uh, 5g is 60 to 90 gigahertz or billions of waves per second. And they're allowed to telecoms allowed to go up to over
[00:12:07] three times that highest level, which is 300 gigahertz. So, uh, we sleep in Revit at one or below one to eight Hertz or waves per second. So there's over 10, zero Delta of a one directional polarizing wave form in our environment that, you know, continues to mess with our vibration of our body and, and, and selling DNA damage, which then leads to cognitive challenges, uh, non-trauma
[00:12:34] concussion symptoms. And then all the bigs, uh, cancer, suicide, diabetes, Alzheimer's disease, cardiovascular disease. And, and the one we're seeing a lot of now is infertility. Right. Um, that's interesting, but it's, it's actually impossible to, uh, to avoid these sorts of things, aren't they? Because it's, it's everywhere. I mean, there's part of our life, which is about
[00:13:00] just adapting to the environment at which we live in, isn't it? So, so how do you cope with something you can't see, touch, smell or anything like that? I mean, how do we know these things are happening to us? Yeah, it's great. Great point. I mean, you're not supposed to see air, right? Russell, unless you're in LA and it's all polluted. You don't see it and you don't know it's there unless you see it or smell it, you know, from pollution or such, but, uh, this is an individual
[00:13:29] invisible toxin. It's probably the number one stressor on the body. So it's not really on people's lists right now, but that's what my role is, is to, uh, raise everyone's level of consciousness and understand that just because you can't see it doesn't mean it doesn't affect you. And when you purchase a meter, the meter, this stuff, the sound that those meters make are the sounds that most humans don't hear, but that's what our bodies and nervous systems are hearing. And you can hear those underwater. So you can hear the stressors. They sound like,
[00:13:59] it sounds like noise pollution constantly, especially if you go underwater and there's a electric boat or foil board motor running, you can hear that, that static really well. But that's, you know, the meters are the great ways to identify that stuff. Uh, because most people, they, they're, they just don't recognize it as a stressor until you show them that we can meter this stuff. So, so, so I get that makes a little sense. So I'm lying in bed and I'm faffing about trying to
[00:14:28] do mindfulness because actually, you know what, what you're telling me, that's a waste of time. Because actually what you're saying is the, that's not going to actually do anything, is it really? What you need to do is have a system where you're able to manage the effects of these negative waves around you rather than going through you. Yeah, no, I, I, I'm never would say mindfulness, you know, meditation would not help that. That's what we strive to do is to build
[00:14:56] our chi, our life force up, our bio filled up enough to convert the one directional waveform. So they don't affect us just naturally. Most people don't have that strength, Russell. They're not Shaolin monks breathing and meditating all the time. So we got to get out in, into nature for having nature help us. We got to get support of emf rocks.com and the grounding bags and bring nature's
[00:15:20] residence in your home. Uh, when you're using these, this technology or inundated with these non-native electromagnetic polarizing waveforms, uh, of electricity and wireless signals. So yeah, that, that's the first thing you, you, we can convert this. And that's the, probably the biggest takeaway from here is guys, don't be afraid of 5g or, you know, we can, it's physics. You can convert a
[00:15:47] one directional waveform into something our bodies accept. It's just, most people don't have the vitality and we're not breathing, doing breath work all day to train it at that level, to be able to, to create that wizardry and do it. So we need some help. Yeah. And there are a lot of conspiracy theories about 5g, aren't they? Uh, I think coming from your country. Um, but what you're saying is, is there's nothing to matter with it because it's something you can do something about it. So that's,
[00:16:14] that's quite encouraging, isn't it? Well, I know let me, well, let me clarify a couple of things. Number one, uh, there's no conspiracy theory about 5g being, uh, uh, uh, 50 to 60 to 90 gigahertz speed of a millimeter waves that are, are so different than how we're made. So it's just pure science that they're different. So when you have something that different, it's going to hurt people
[00:16:44] and it's going to affect it. And we will adapt when we need to at the level we're capable of, which we saw the last several years with COVID and the rollout of 5g, uh, throughout the entire world. There's a book called the invisible rainbow by Arthur Furstenberg that categorizes the history of electricity in life. And he directly correlates every major sign where a lot of people got sick
[00:17:10] to rollouts or shifts, I should say in our electromagnetic blanket of an atmosphere, be it cosmic shifts before 1889. And then after 1889, when we put electricity in their homes, it was all man-made. So, uh, interesting point here. And I'll, I'll, I'll kind of continue on this train of thought, but when we put electricity in the homes, the flu was here to stay before that they
[00:17:36] called it the flu influenza. Cause it was under the influence of the solar system, the cosmic shifts, atmospheric pressure shifts, solar flares. That's when our bodies would adapt and our REM patterns shift at night. And, and, you know, our bodies do the best they can to respond to it. But once we put electricity in the homes, the flu was here to stay, it became seasonal. And then correlating 1918 with the
[00:18:03] Spanish flu, they rolled out radio waves for the first time. And then world war two was radar and satellites for the Hong Kong flu. And then obviously, you know, we had COVID and that correlated directly correlated with the rollout of 5g. And, and we've never ever electrocuted ourselves and radiated
[00:18:27] ourselves at this level. And so it's, it's not conspiracy. It's physics. Our air is our environment. And just as dolphins are marine life is the waters, our environment, you pollute the ocean with an oil spill or something, the dolphins are going to get sick and adapt. You pollute our air where these waves and particles travel through it. We're going to get sick and adapt to it. So that's the biggest point
[00:18:56] here is that let's, let's really start to understand how our environment affects us. It can kill you instantly, or it can allow you to thrive. But most people just don't recognize it because they don't see it. But that's kind of how it works. That's the physics wise now. And I don't want people to fear it because we can, you know, transmute it, transform it either through our own life force or through
[00:19:19] nature's resonance. So we can coexist with this stuff and keep evolving with it. But man, if you're compromised, you got to take the necessary steps because this is again, the biggest stressor we've ever dealt with and, and it's not going away. It's they're only getting started. So if, so I was going to talk about your site in a minute, but, um, but if people want to actually read around the subject so they can find out more of the sort of research and evidence around this
[00:19:48] stuff, where would they look for that? Well, I wrote a book called grounded by nature. So check that out. I would read the invisible rainbow by Arthur Furstenberg, which categorized the history of electricity and life. I would look at cellphonetaskforce.org. Uh, I would look at bioinitiative.org. I would look at children's health defense.org and all the research they've done on litigating against the FCC and telecom.
[00:20:18] Those are some easy resources that you could kind of look at. I look at high wires research on all this stuff. Uh, there there's endless, endless thousands of studies. I think smoking, they took like 16,000 studies to realize that it was a car. We've passed that number. And, uh, but just for some reason,
[00:20:44] our governments are, they're wanting connectivity to, and I feel it's a, there's a, there's more to it than just having people productive and connecting there's governments can really track and trace and monitor a population in a way bigger way with surveillance. And then the, the industries that profit from it would be surveillance marketing, you know, of these devices. So they're selling you
[00:21:10] information. They've been doing this for, you know, 20 years. This isn't anything new. No, there's a lot of people getting very, very rich from, uh, these sorts of organizations, aren't they? So, uh, yes, sir. One of those is very, very wealthy indeed. Anyway, um, let's, let's rock and roll. So, um, so how will people get in touch with you? What, uh, what, how can they see more of what you've been up to? You mentioned your book, uh, talks about that site, tell us about
[00:21:36] the site, any social media links such like, yeah, appreciate it. Russell athleticism.com is spelled athleticism.com. So where we have all of our curated health products, uh, MCT oil, toothpaste, grounding bags, uh, campo beauty.com campo beauties oils are on our side as well. And then you could go to, uh, emf rocks.com for all of our grounding products and on social media, you can find me at
[00:22:05] emf rocks at athleticism, neuro stacking. Both those are on Instagram. I take over human garages, Instagram every Friday at noon Pacific time. That's a self-healing fashion maneuver system because our fascia is getting dehydrated. We're seeing epidemic chronic dehydration from fascia. So take diatomation earth, Irish CMOS and visit me every Friday noon Pacific time on human garage to
[00:22:31] dive deeper into understanding how we can keep our health and vitality at the highest level and, you know, just get grounded by nature because that's our nature. What a great way to end. Thank you so much for spending time with us today. It's absolutely fascinating. I'm off to do some more reading. I think I need to know more. Thank you, Russell. You take care.
